ABOUT ME
Hello, hello! Thank you for stopping by my blog!
I've been running this blog for about three years now (minus a chunk of time between 2017 and 2018 called "my third year of mission"), since my senior year of college, to document my journey of serving with Saint Paul's Outreach. I spent two beautiful years serving at the University of Minnesota before the Lord got tired of hearing me complain about the winter and sent me down to Florida State University! Now I am still in Tallahassee, and my time is spent serving the students at FSU as well as the administrative needs for all of our SPO campuses in Florida.
I love being a missionary because my entire job is simply to love people, to walk with them as they discover more of who they are and their identity in Christ. It's a great joy of mine to serve the Lord with my life in this way, and to be able to use all of my gifts & talents to further the Kingdom of God. I've grown to learn that mission can be as simple as a cup of coffee with a friend, and as wide as a retreat with almost 300 college students in attendance. But I think the biggest thing I've learned is that it's not nearly as complicated as I make it out to be in my head.
My walk with the Lord during this time of my life has been nothing short of an adventure, and I can confidently say that I've never felt more fully alive. I'm extremely passionate about the work that God is about in Saint Paul's Outreach, and I'm so, so grateful for the unique calling He's placed on my life that allows me to still be a part of it. I'll try my best to continue to regularly chronicle what's happening in the mission coupled with what's happening in my own life. Thanks for joining me on this adventure!
If you ever have any questions please feel free to contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. May God bless you!
